Excel Mac 2016 – Paste Special – Add

Add the values in the copy area to the values in the paste area.

In this example, we will use a wine menu and we are increasing amount of all wines in $ 1.32

  1. In an empty cell, type the value do you want to increase, for example, $1.32 and copy the cell (Command-C)
  2. Select the cells do you want to increase the value
  3. On the Ribbon, click the Home tab
  4. Click the arrow on left side of button Paste, and select Paste Special. You also can use the shortcut key Control-Command-Vexcelmac2016pastespecialadd_1
  5. In Paste Special Windowexcelmac2016pastespecialadd_2
    • Paste – Select Values to keep original format
    • Operation – Select Add to increase the values
  6. All values are increased in $1.32
  7. Clear the cell used to hold the 1.32excelmac2016pastespecialadd_3
