Multiply the values in the copy area to the values in the paste area.
In this example, we will use a wine menu and we are increasing amount of all wines in 32%
Note: To increase in 32% you need to multiply by 132% or 1.32

- In an empty cell, type the value do you want to multiply, for example, 132% and copy the cell (Command-C)
- Select the cells do you want to increase the value
- On the Ribbon, click the Home tab
- Click the arrow on left side of button Paste, and select Paste Special. You also can use the shortcut key Control-Command-V
- In Paste Special Window
- Paste – Select Values to keep original format (You must choose it if you enter a % value)
- Operation – Select Add to increase the values
- All values are multipied in 132%
- Clear the cell used to hold the 132%
